What we collect

When you visit this site, our hosting provider Cloudflare automatically records some basic technical information about the request. This is standard for virtually every website on the internet, and it happens whether you interact with anything or not.

Specifically, Cloudflare's server logs include:

Your IP address — the numeric address your device uses to connect to the internet
Your user-agent string — the text your browser sends to identify itself (e.g. "Firefox on Windows")
A timestamp — when the request was made

That's the complete list. We don't ask you to create an account, we don't run a comment system, and we don't have a newsletter signup. There is nothing else for us to collect.

What we don't collect

This site is deliberately minimal. We do not use:

Google Analytics or any other analytics platform
Tracking cookies of any kind
Third-party advertising networks
Social media widgets or embedded pixels

There are no hidden scripts phoning home about your visit. No profile is being built about you, and nothing about your reading habits is being sold or shared. If you open your browser's developer tools and watch the network tab, you'll see requests for the page and its assets — nothing more.

How long logs are kept

Cloudflare retains these logs for 30 days, which is their standard default. After that window, they are automatically deleted. We don't archive them, export them, or keep our own separate copy.
